It is with sadness that Salisbury United Football Club announces the passing of our co-founder Bob Bush. Bob, a former serviceman in the RAAF, was instrumental in establishing Salisbury United in 1954, played in its first ever game against British Wanderers and served the club for over 35 years. In 1978 Bob was again in the forefront of football development being instrumental in establishing the South Australian Womens Soccer Association becoming their inaugural President and executive officer. In 2003 Bob was elected into the Hall of Fame as a Roll of Honour Member for meritorious contribution. A true gentleman of our sport who will be sadly missed.
