This long weekend will see SUFC play Two Rounds of Football!
Round 3. This Saturday 8th of March 2014
Salisbury United FC visits Eastern United FC @ Athelstone Recreation Reserve, 267 Lower Athelstone Rd. Athelstone.
This will be a good test for SUFC playing another away game 2 weeks in a row, against a tough side. Eastern United after 2 rounds are sitting 4th on the ladder, with a win against Sturt Lions last week 4-0 and a Draw v Adelaide Cobras 2-2 in the 1st Round.
Also lets not forget the Reserves and the U18s are still unbeaten too, with many of these lads looking to play 1st team football. Pressure is on for 1st team players to hold their spots in the team. Which we all know is a great thing to see.
Round 4. Monday 10th of March.
We are back @ Steve Jarvis Park, Home of the Mighty Salisbury, playing host to the Western Toros.
A new look Toros touched up SUFC in a trail game very early this year, but as you know with all trail games teams don’t always show their cards. This will be a game not to miss as this will be the 2nd game in 3 days for both teams. This will be a match of which team will have recovered the best and wanting the win. So with SUFC having home ground advantage we will not want to drop 3pts. here.
Good luck to all of our lads
